This kind man was paid large sums of money to drive 4 drunkards through 7 (8?) vineyards in Santa Barbara wine country - and probably worse - back home again. I imagine there were several times when he questioned the wad of money in his pocket, but Andrew Jackson kept saying "only one more vineyard!". Or maybe that was me.
